Distilled water is a clear, odourless liquid free of the minerals and impurities found in regular tap water. It carries no scent of its own and does not interfere with the fragrance of oils, alcohols or other materials it is mixed with.
It is used as a diluent in attar and spray perfume making, in soap and cosmetic preparation, and wherever a neutral water base is needed to adjust concentration or dissolve water-soluble ingredients.
Add gradually to your formulation and mix well, adjusting the quantity according to the dilution or consistency you need. Store in a clean, closed container to keep it free of contamination.
