ISO E Super gives a soft, woody and amber-like note with a slightly velvety, musky undertone. It is not sharp or heavy, and tends to blend smoothly into other notes rather than stand out on its own.
It is used in perfume and attar compositions to round out woody or amber accords, in soap and cosmetic fragrances, and as a background note that supports other materials and extends their presence on the skin.
Dissolve in a suitable perfumery solvent such as DPG or ethanol before blending, or add directly to an oil base for attars. Use in small proportion alongside other notes, as it is strong and tends to dominate the blend if overdosed.
